All produced propylene by PDH Polska S.A. will go to GA ZAK S.A. Approximately 400 kt of propylene per annum during seven years contract – general commercial conditions were signed at the end of December 2016 by both of the companies.

The cooperation will cover the years 2021-2028, starting with the beginning of operation of the factory. After the construction, PDH Polska S.A. will be exclusive producer of propylene in Grupa Azoty, while ZAK S.A. will become exclusive seller of this product, at the same time covering its internal propylene demand.

The tasks division takes into account the commercial team in ZAK S.A. experienced for years in trading propylene, as well as appropriate number of tanks to transport the product.

The mentioned signed agreement is further step in integration of Grupa Azoty. We are strengthening the cooperation between the companies inside of the Capital Group, at the same time we stabilize the commercial conditions and providing offtake of propylene produced in Police.  There are mutual benefits, we have the assurance, that we will sell the product and ZAK will have guaranteed raw material supplies – Vicepresident of the Board and Commercial Director of PDH Polska Artur Więznowski, said. The SPV, established by GA ZCh ,,Police” S.A. to build and produce propylene using PDH (propane dehydrogenation) method is the key investment of Grupa Azoty , as well as the largest and the most innovative unit in Central Europe. During construction the employment will find 1000 workers and after start-up of the plant approx. 200 workers. The first tonne of propylene will be produced at the beginning of 2021.
