Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. Completes Conditional Provisional Acceptance for PP Installation Subproject and Transshipment and Storage Terminal Subproject

Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. has signed bilateral protocols of Conditional Provisional Acceptance with Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd., the General Contractor for Polimery Police, for the Polypropylene Installation subproject and the H&ST Transshipment and Storage Terminal subproject. The Conditional Provisional Acceptance procedure has been introduced to expedite the transfer of the Polimery Police project from the General Contractor to commercial operations.

The formal takeover of the Polimery Police project is contingent upon the signing of an amendment to the EPC Agreement, where the parties will finalize the approval of the Integrity Test, establish the terms for settling the Polimery Police Project, and define their rights and obligations concerning the completion of the project's construction phase.

This procedure allows Grupa Azoty Polyolefins to fully manage its polypropylene production portfolio, tailored to market conditions. The PP Installation's production capacity enables the production of 437,000 tons of polypropylene annually. The main process parameters of the PP Installation have been achieved and confirmed during the conducted test runs.

"Signing the protocols is a significant step towards swiftly moving the Polimery Police Project into commercial operation. It confirms that both parties are committed to achieving the goals for the timely completion of the investment," said Wojciech Blew, Acting President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins.
