The Maritime Office in Szczecin has signed a contract with the Dutch company Van den Herik Kust for the design and construction of dredging and construction works related to the investment "Improvement of access infrastructure to the Police’s harbor." As a result, the fairway on the Policki Canal will be deepened  to 10.5 m (with the possibility of extending it in the next stage to 12.5 m) and widened in the bottom to 100 m. 

This contract is strategic for PDH Polska S.A. and it will be positive significance for the final success of the "Polimery Police" project. After starting the production, the necessery raw materials (propane and ethylene) will be transported on the Policki Canal. Furthermore, polypropylen will be transported be the vessels from the harbor which will be located on the Policki Canal.
