Grupa Azoty Polyolefins (Polimery Police) is looking for candidates for the position
Key Account Manager

The main duties of the person employed on this position will be:

Project phase

  • Support development of the product range by collecting and consulting technical product data from customers,
  • Understanding customer and market needs, translating these into resin requirements/specifications,
  • Develop thorough understanding of the Polish and German polyolefins markets,
  • Develop contact with potential polypropylene customers,
  • Feedback market needs to the commercial and production teams.

Pre-start-up phase

  • Manage product approval and qualification at customers,
  • Provide commercial and technical support for the marketing documentation design,
  • Support implementation of ISO and quality standards for commercial operations,
  • Support implementation of procedures and IT systems supporting commercial operations,
  • Support of the development of the customer service organisation.

Post-start-up commercial operation

  • Continue supporting Grupa Azoty Polyolefins sales development by expanding customer portfolio,
  • Enhance business profitability by continuous development of higher value applications ,
  • Initiate and manage value added product and applications development projects in collaboration with Process Technologist and Production,
  • Support profitable product line growth through customer qualifications of new, improved or existing products,
  • Prepare technical presentations and report out progress to the development team and management,
  • Work with customers to help understand and apply customer performance requirements to new product developments ,
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to design and develop new products based on market needs and manufacturing capability,
  • Ensure optimum performance of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins product and service at customers - provide support to manufacturing plants including process improvement initiatives and other activities aimed at operational excellence and continuous improvement,
  • Commercial focal point for cooperation with the production department on product related aspects,
  • Providing targeted technical support to external customers, as well as internal customers such as Business, Sales and Production.

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial operations in plastics industry,
  • Good knowledge of plastic’s conversion technologies,
  • Autonomy in organising her/his work to meet objectives,
  • Caring for a high level of internal and external communication standards,
  • Fluent in Polish or German and English allowing free business communication,
  • Familiar with SAP, ISO 9001 and commercial regulations and operations,
  • Effective communicator (both written and oral) and have an advanced level of technical competency in polyolefins and polypropylene processing technologies.
