Grupa Azoty Polyolefins (Polimery Police) is looking for candidates for the position
Product Stewardship Manager

Objectives:

  • Maintaining full and in-depth knowledge of all current legislation including proposed changes; legislations concerning product registration, ingredients, product classification on a national and European level for products produced by Grupa Azoty Polyolefins
  • Ensure that Grupa Azoty Polyolefins products comply to EU and Global Regulations to enable GA Polyolefins to safely sell products into the market

The main duties of the person employed on this position will be:

  • Monitoring changes in regulation and determining potential risks for import and marketing of products sold by Grupa Azoty Polyolefins
  • Providing registration/notification dossiers, declaration and certification of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins products
  • Interacting with registration agencies for registration/notification for the Grupa Azoty Polyolefins products
  • Consulting and support to departments of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins about questions on registration/notification, declarations and certifications.
  • Take responsibility in supporting Customer Service and Sales Department on any related regulatory and product stewardship questions
  • Involvement in activities aimed at protecting the interests of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins during scheduled and unscheduled inspections (audits) by state authorities, preparing documentation, arranging internal and external examination of goods
  • Timely informing of marketing and sales departments on ongoing changes relating to the Grupa Azoty Polyolefins products
  • Establishes sound communication and working relationships within Technology, Corporate personnel as well as with all other company affiliate personnel, suppliers, legal counsels, public and government agencies.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of EU regulations e.g. REACH
  • Experienced in the preparation of EU regulatory
  • Good presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and across disciplines
  • Strong commitment to delivering high quality work with attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator (written/verbal) with the ability to listen, organise and prioritise
  • Excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to work well with others and passion to help others develop
  • Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Science such as Chemistry, Toxicology, Environmental science or similar subjects
  • >5 year work experience in product stewardship and regulatory affairs (ideally in the chemical industry)
  • Fluent in English and Polish language
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office
