Grupa Azoty Polyolefins (Polimery Police) is looking for candidates for the position
Sales / Business Director

The main duties of the person employed on this position will be:

  • Managing Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. Polypropylene sales by ensuring proper implementation and use of the various sales processes ( contract negotiations, Monthly Forecasting, volume and price negotiation, order management, claim management, payment follow up …).
  • Enhance business profitability by continuous development of customer portfolio. This includes sales volume development to reach the business plan targets but also a higher value application when possible to improve unit contribution margin. Initiate and support value added products and applications development projects in collaboration with process technologist and production.
  • Enhance business profitability by proper sales arbitrage with price management or when volume availability is under constraint.
  • Support finance, on collecting financial data from customer  for proper  assessment of credit limit. Manage the customer DSO and any issues linked with late payment.
  • Manage supply activity and supply team, to ensure proper management of the order processing, of the forecasting process and plant production planning activities.
  • Manage Customer satisfaction, in particular claim management from reception to resolution.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on market developments and competitive behavior.
  • Caring for the results of commercial activities in terms of results but also in terms of business ethics.
  • Manage the commercial and supply chain team motivation, knowledge growth and recruitment if needed to maintain an experience and competent team able to deliver the expected business plan.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in petrochemical business and excellent network within the EU/CEE market
  • Experience in managing professional Teams, ability to organize own work as well as that of a dedicated team,
  • Knowledge of polyolefins business
  • Higher technical and business education,
  • Fluent in English allowing free business communication,
  • Caring for a high level of internal and external communication standards,
  • Thanks to a developed commercial mindset, understands the needs and expectations of customers and suppliers to build partner relationships,
  • Good communication skills on all fronts, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to ensure free flow of company logistics processes,
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure efficiency in service delivery at all times,
  • Ability to be proactive when dealing with customer complaints or requests,
