Since the very onset of the pandemic, the Grupa Azoty Group has been actively involved in supporting various institutions combating COVID-19. Already in mid-March 2020, the management and supervisory boards of each of the Group’s key companies decided to donate PLN 750 thousand (per company) for that purpose.
The assembly of the roof on the first propane tank has been completed. A lift weighing 290 tons, was lifted by forcing air under the dome with a slight overpressure of +0.02 bar. For safety reasons, the maximum speed of lifting the roof was 30 cm per minute.
The Supervisory Board of the Company announces the initiation of the qualification procedure for Member of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. with its headquarters in Police at Kuźnicka Street 1 ("the Company").

May 18th saw the mounting in place of a 96-metre-tall propane-propylene splitter. The operation required the use of one of the world’s largest ring cranes.
On May 13th 2021, the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty S.A. appointed Marek Wadowski to the Company's Management Board of the new 12th term of office as its Vice President, with effect as of May 18th 2021. The Supervisory Board also appointed Zbigniew Paprocki as Member of the Management Board, with effect as of May 18th 2021.
